While Troops Fight For Us, Hillsborough County Is Fighting For Them At Home
In light of the President’s recent announcement to deploy more troops, Hillsborough County would like to remind our local soldiers and their families about the Active Military Combat Grant.
Military members could receive up to a $1,500 grant to pay for property taxes on their Hillsborough County homesteaded home if they were deployed to a combat zone for more than 45 days in a calendar year. Eligible servicemen and servicewomen have up to two years to apply, and this grant applies to those living in any part of Hillsborough County, including incorporated and unincorporated areas.
The Active Military Combat Grant was established in 2006 to assist military members to maintain and support their family at home while serving in combat.
